Day 188

Time I left home:

Another day, another commute...Although, this commute is going to be my last of the week as I'm heading out for a flying commute to attend a wedding.  Good times.  My breakfast sandwich was delightful and so were most of the people around me.  It's nice that the majority of the construction is almost done...I feel like it was never-ending this year.

Day 187

Time I left home:

Once again, a pretty long academic year commute.  It's just gonna be this way, isn't it?  I got some really great rolls from Wegman's last night, so I used one to make a breakfast sandwich this morning.  It was amazing.  I really missed eating those.

Day 186

Time I left home:

Typical Monday commute, which surprised me since it is the summer and people are supposed to be at the beach.  I guess everyone returned early after having gone for 4th of July.  Most of the commute wasn't too bad...

Day 185

Time I left home:

A regular commuting day for me.  I thought it was going to take some serious time to get to work based on the report on the radio.  However, it did not.  Most people were driving very nicely and while we all had places to be, we were not being mean today.  Maybe it's because there was a report out that most people think other people have road rage and not themselves.  I definitely get road rage.  I can't lie about that.  Today, I did not have it; most days, I do.  I enjoyed two eggs and coffee on my drive.

Time I got to work.

Day 184

Time I left home:

It's 4th of July week, so everything is going extremely well on the beltway.  A bunch of construction happening, people still without electricity, and a variety of people on vacation.  It's great!

Day 183

Time I left home:

Another commuting summer Monday, which means traffic is nice since most people are still at the beach from over the weekend...plus, it's the week of July 4, which also means that many people are going to be taking these days off.  I am hoping that this means I'll have a very nice commute.  Today, it was about 39 minutes...I think it would have been faster if Ihadn't gotten caught at the light at the end of my street.  Coffee and oatmeal enjoyed on the road.

Day 182

Time I left home:

A pretty typical commute today.  I enjoyed coffee and a peanut granola bar on the drive while weaving in and out of the cars that weren't going quite the speed I wanted them to go today.  It was sort of like a video game and I enjoyed it.
